Plan the wedding day leg by leg
A wedding day has more transportation legs than most couples expect: the getting-ready suite to the ceremony, the ceremony to photos, photos to the reception, and the exit at the end of the night. Each leg needs its own vehicle, time and headcount.
Add 20 to 30 minutes of buffer between legs so the vehicle is waiting before it is needed, and give one person a direct line to us for day-of changes. The Journal's South Florida wedding transportation checklist walks through it step by step.
When to book
4 to 8 weeks ahead is ideal, especially for spring and fall dates. For popular dates, book earlier. Every reservation is reviewed for availability and confirmed by email.
The getaway
Confirm the getaway vehicle and the exact pickup spot with your venue coordinator in advance, and clear sparklers or confetti with the venue and the chauffeur beforehand. A pickup from 11 pm on carries the 20% late-night rate, already in the price shown.
Guests flying in
Arrivals at MIA or FLL are flight tracked, with 60 minutes of complimentary wait on every airport pickup and no delay fees.
Who rides in which vehicle
Capacity is a safety limit. Count dress bags, gift boxes and overnight cases as luggage. If what arrives at the pickup does not fit safely, your chauffeur may decline the ride and it is treated as a no-show, so book the larger class when you are between two. See the full fleet.
For guest shuttles between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception, a van is usually the right call for ten or more: two SUVs arrive as two vehicles, and one always waits for the other. For groups too big for one van, we coordinate several vehicles.

One chauffeur for the whole day
For the hours between the first look and the last dance, book by the hour and the chauffeur and vehicle stay with you. Add the day's stops in order, the ceremony, the photo spot, the reception, at no extra charge, and choose whether the ride ends back at the start or at a different address.
The minimum is 2 hours in every class except the Executive Van, which is 4 hours. Each hour includes 25 miles, and a booking runs up to 24 hours. By the hour in detail.
What the price includes, and the extras
Your price is locked when you book and includes the 20% chauffeur gratuity and the $5.95 service fee, so there is no tip to settle at the curb. Fees such as extra wait, added stops on a transfer, tolls and parking, or cleaning apply only when they happen, at the rates in Policies and Fees.
